LABO, CAMARINES NORTE – A total of 104 students from the Northills College of Asia (NCA), Inc. underwent Consumer Education sessions last 18 March 2024.
These students marked themselves as certified #MamimilingMaalam (Informed Consumer) as they were made aware of their rights and responsibilities as consumers.
The consumer education (ConEd) is aimed at intensifying consumer awareness, upholding consumer welfare and protection among themselves, and inspiring vigilance on business regulation compliance within the community they belong.
The activity is a product of partnership between DTI-CNPO and NCA through a MOA to strengthen consumerism by integrating consumer education in the curriculum of NCA’s college department.
